"Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth."  John 17:17

Ministry of Men can be defined as bringing men into meaningful relationship with God, through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and developing them into fully devoted Disciples of Christ, men who exalt the name of Jesus, live consistently within His holy character, proclaim and promote His holiness, His greatness and His sovereignty. God calls us to grow godly men of faith and action for His glory and purpose. So we gather to encourage men and hold each other accountable, we are convicted that a genuine, loving, godly man of faith means strong marriages, strong families, a strong church and a strong community.

Our goals are:
  • To help our men understand Biblical manhood and apply this understanding in all of their relationships.
  • To help men attain knowledge of and love for the scriptures and appreciate its relevance, submitting to the Lordship of Christ in their lives.?
  • To encourage each man to have a clear conscience (blameless) before the Lord and before his family (purity).
  • To support the marriages and families of our men and equip them for continued godly, relational growth.
  • To provide resources and tools to our men to equip them for their calling.?
  • To encourage accountability and strong male friendships.
Men's Ministry Meetings are on at the church every Saturday from 7:00am-8:30am.  We will meet for a time of Bible study and worship through songs of praise and prayer.

Men, coming September 2011 we will begin our  study in Philippians… standby for the details regarding dates/schedule  etc! (SEE "Resources" to the right for WINTER SCHEDULE)
Join us as we study along with Matt Chandler, Teaching Pastor of The Village Church in Flower Mound, TX, as he walks us through this most intimate of all Paul’s letters and paints a beautiful picture of what it is to be a mature Christian. The story begins in Philippi where Paul introduces three individuals that were all enslaved by the kind of things that we often choose over the gospel: The Business Executive, The Little Slave Girl, and The Hard Working Jailer.

Their lives portray dysfunction and emptiness, but are totally transformed by the Gospel. True joy and Christ’s love begin to live within them, giving them a life of purpose. In fact, Paul himself was enslaved and then by God’s grace and mercy he could pen these popular and profound words: To Live is Christ and to Die is Gain. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Twelve 30minute Teaching Sessions!
